The Last Word (with apologies to Eamon
Dunphy):
Previous Last Words:
14th April 2002 :Roy Keane to benefit from his rest (injury) and do well in finals
27th March 2002 :Duffer to play major part in finals - 1st Irish Superstar since Liam
Brady
Update - April 14th 2002
- Stephen Carr ruled out of finals. News released on
Official Tottenham Hotspur web page
- Gary Doherty back in training with Spurs. On bench for
Premiership game V West Ham on April 13th.
- Loads of English players injured in last week (David
beckham, martin Keown, Michael Owen, Ugo Ehiogu, Graham LeSaux, Sol Campbell). Hate that
(snigger).
Update - March 27th 2002
- After a great performance Holland established himself as
leading runner for second starter in midfield.
- Duff playes fantastic on wing, would it be better to start
him there - he is MUCH better than Kilbane / Kennedy
- Morrisson did very well up front - he wouldn't let us
down.
- Kelly did okay at right-back, but might just pip Finnan.
- Carr in America to see specialist - doesn't look likely he
will travel.
- Cunningham and Staunton (Stan and Kenny) look good in
central defence
- John O'Shea left to captain U-21's.
